Refinery Hotel - New York

We had an amazing Xmas stay in the heart of the city. The lobby was fine and the staff was very professional. The rooms were fantastic with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. We loved the complimentary products and the thoughtful birthday surprise in our room. The location was perfect, great to easily walk to many attractions and shops.

This hotel excels in luxury and comfort. From the pleasant lobby wafting with the aroma of complimentary tea and coffee to the well-decorated rooms with cozy beds and sumptuous toiletries, the hotel pampers its guests. the stylish restaurants and great bars, including a rooftop bar, make this hotel a great spot to catch live entertainment or enjoy cocktails.

The hotel's only flaw is minor: there is no "backdoor" service at the rooftop bar. It's often packed with partners rather than guests who already have paid for their stay.

Totally good stay in terms of amenities within the hotel and cleanliness could have been better at times. Good location and food, we loved this hip new property.

Great value hotel, fairly clean, with ideal location near to Bryant Park and so many attractions. Genuinely friendly staff and was willing to help. I loved the room, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. There was lots of food, in general it was great.

The stay here was wonderful, loved the hotel, it was clean with unbeatable location really close to Grand Central and Bryant Park. Was a cozy base for weekend.

hotel really is in a prime location, 10 minutes to times square, 20 minutes to central park, 5 minutes to 5th avenue, 2 minutes to bryant park. super friendly staff. perfect place to explore new york. spacious bathroom.

unfortunately the room had no atmosphere - too bright light, so there is little cosiness. at the arrival it was freezing cold in the room, so the first impression was a little bit depressed. price performance in my eyes too expensive. the fitness center is very small. with 3200. dollar for four nights i would have expected daily drinking water in the room. agreements with the employees were not always carried forward... we had visited the restaurant quin &, parker (super ambiente) only once. price performance - too expensive. we had breakfast around the corner in a really great restaurant which was not much more expensive but had a top quality.

We loved the downstairs restaurant called Parker & Quinn. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. It was the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat after a long day of exploring the city. The hotel's restaurant also had a great selection and the breakfast options were delicious. Additionally, the location of the hotel was ideal - close to everything you want without being smack dab in the middle of loud noisy Times Square.

The communication with the hotel staff could be improved. There were issues with the phone lines and it was difficult to get a response when making a reservation.

perfect location!

we stayed in that hotel for a week. since there was practically no wardrobe, we had to live out of a suitcase. furniture is rickety and worn out. it was always cold in the room, because the heating was on and off. made the stay partly very uncomfortable, as our room was not cleaned several times and overall cleanliness was not the best. staff is trying hard, especially the concierge is completely unaware, as restaurant recommendations are searched in google. prices in the restaurant are usually expensive, quality is anything but good. conclusion: the hotel is not worth a recommendation.

welcome and kindness of the hotel's staff, size of the room and proximity of the hyper centre of Midtown. restaurant adjoining the hotel is very pleasant.

This hotel is the perfect location for exploring this city! I could easily walk to Times Square and all the shops in the fashion district. The rooftop terrace was a great spot to relax and enjoy the very nice view of the Empire State Building. The staff was friendly and cute, and the hotel facilities were great.

Depressing lighting, freezing room, catastrophic insulation (noise and cold), dirty floor, carpet not vacuumed, faulty light in the bathroom. They should reconsider their notion of luxury ("small luxury hotels"), in short not at all up to scratch.

Nice jazzy atmosphere. Warm staff, tasteful decoration. Well-equipped and well-maintained room. Good location.

The rooftop is often full and inaccessible. The reception at breakfast is average.

I recently stayed at the Refinery Hotel for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the Empire State Building from our bedroom window and close proximity to Times Square. The hotel’s modern and spacious room had a NYC loft apartment feel, with floor-to-ceiling artwork and contemporary furnishings. The memory foam mattress and luxurious bedding made for the best night’s sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. The warm and genuine welcome, complimentary toiletries, and little touches like a welcome cake and wine in our room made us feel like royalty. The staff were great and the minor maintenance problem we had was dealt with promptly. a great experience.

I loved my stay at Refinery Hotel in Midtown! The hipster vibe of the staff instantly won me over. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and the two queen beds were comfortable. The waterfall shower head in the spacious bathroom was a good touch. The location, just east of Time Square, was perfect for exploring the city without being caught in the tourist traps. I highly recommend Refinery Hotel for its quality, courteous service, and fantastic location.

As travelers with physical handicaps, we were pleasantly surprised by the accessibility and accommodations at the Refinery. The location is superb, with Macy's, Times Square, and the Empire State Building just a short 5-minute walk away. During my Christmas stay, I was actually surprised by the attention to detail at this hotel. The real Christmas tree in the room added a festive touch, and the complimentary happy hour wine was a special treat.

There were a few aspects that fell short of expectations. The rooftop bar, one of the reasons for choosing this hotel, was closed.

I was kinda surprised when I arrived at the Refinery Hotel and was given a free upgrade on my room. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. The rooftop bar had a fantastic atmosphere and delicious cocktails. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
